The Long Beach Sailing Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on passion, purpose, and a belief that sailing should be for everyone. At the heart of our mission is the Catalina 37 fleet – identical racing yachts that double as platforms for competition and education. Throughout the year, you will see the boats used in the Congressional Cup and a host of other regattas. You will also see them used in our programs designed to support STEM education, sailor development, and community outreach, programs made possible through the support of our dedicated donors and our partnerships with Long Beach Yacht Club, the US Sailing Center, and many members of our local sailing community. Our donors also make it possible for the Sailing Foundation to extend grants to deserving organizations and individuals to promote sailing, athlete development, and amateur competition.
